Mental readiness
Mental readiness is how prepared and steady you feel to engage with the work on a given day.
Mental readiness describes a felt sense rather than a fixed trait. It is the answer to a simple question asked on a particular morning: how much do I have available today?
It shifts with sleep, stress, mood, what happened yesterday, and how supported someone feels. Two days in the same week can be very different, and neither of them says anything permanent about the person.
It matters between sessions because it is the most honest input into what to attempt. Noticing that today is a low day is what makes it possible to choose the smaller version of a plan, rather than abandoning the plan altogether.
Asendarâ„¢ turns this idea into a daily Mental Readiness Score, so the pattern becomes visible over weeks instead of being reconstructed from memory. The number is a prompt to notice, not a grade.
